The Camping Site is around the mountain approximately 5 kilometers from the Namib Naukluft Lodge and offers an interlocking stand, ideally suited for the popular igloo tents. There are usually 3 - 5 sites arranged in half circles with their own barbeque; communal shower and toilet facilities. The camping site is ideal for families and groups traveling together. The site was used for the millenium Celebration and is also suited for small functions. Beautiful weddings have taken place at this secluded spot - protected by granite mountains and a view over the desert plains. |
